Create A Memorable Experience

REAR BACK & SPEND MONEY ON EVENTS & PEOPLE TO CREATE A MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE

“What?” you may be asking? Spend money on events and people to create a memorable experience? What do I mean by that? Exactly what it says. Apply this “truism” to your team members, your clients, and to your family and friends.

Certainly it is difficult to generate enough money to pay the bills, the salaries, and grocery bill—or whatever. I am not suggesting a flagrant abuse of your hard earned money. However, as you are establishing and maintaining relationships, what you do to go above and beyond the expected will separate you from the average. And that is what you want.

Without question, you will be providing all of the care and service that people are expecting from you. But, when you go above and beyond the expected, you solidify relationships. An investment in people and in events connects people to you. When you make people feel special by treating them as such, they bond with you. Long term relationships—in any situation—are the best. It costs less to solidify a relationship with a client than it costs to generate a new one. The same is true of quality team members.

So, money spent on these relationships will become an investment—for you, your colleagues, and your organization.
